About the PayPal integration
PayPal is a global digital payments platform used by online merchants and marketplaces. The Unify Payments API reads its transactions, captures, refunds, disputes, payouts and balances.
PayPal's REST APIs use OAuth 2.0 client credentials, with partner onboarding for third-party access and webhooks for payment, refund and dispute events. The Unify Payments API maps transactions from the Transaction Search API, captures, refunds, disputes and balances to the Unify Graph.

Why build PayPal on Unify Int
One data model
PayPal records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.
Unify Connect
A white-label flow for your customers to authorize PayPal. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.
Custom fields and passthrough
Map PayPal custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.
Unify Monitor
Request logs, sync health and alerts for every PayPal connection, so support can see what happened.
