About the Zuora integration

Zuora is an enterprise subscription billing and revenue platform used by large SaaS, media and telecoms companies. The Unify Payments API reads its accounts, subscriptions, invoices, payments and products.

Zuora's REST API uses OAuth 2.0 client credentials per tenant, with ZOQL and Data Query for bulk reads and callout notifications for events. The Unify Payments API maps accounts, subscriptions, rate plans, invoices, payments, refunds and credit memos to the Unify Graph.

Why build Zuora on Unify Int

  • One data model

Zuora records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Zuora. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Zuora custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Zuora connection, so support can see what happened.

Zuora integration questions

Does Unify Int support Zuora subscriptions and invoices?
Zuora is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading customers, subscriptions, rate plans, invoices, payments and credit memos, with write-back for customers and subscriptions to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Zuora account?
Your customer creates an OAuth client for Unify Int in their Zuora tenant and enters the client ID and secret in Unify Connect.
Is there a Zuora sandbox for testing?
Yes. Zuora customers have API sandbox tenants for testing.
How often does Zuora data sync?
Unify Sync combines Zuora change notifications where the platform emits them with incremental polling elsewhere. You set the frequency per object, from a few minutes for transactional records to daily for reference data.
Can I access Zuora custom fields?
Zuora custom fields (__c fields) on accounts, subscriptions and invoices can be mapped per connection.
