About the SAP Business One integration

SAP Business One is SAP's ERP for small and mid-sized companies, often run on premise or by a hosting partner. The Unify ERP API covers its accounts, business partners, invoices, purchase orders and items.

SAP Business One exposes the Service Layer, an OData REST API that uses a company database login, typically inside the customer's network or a partner's hosting. Unify Int maps chart of accounts, business partners, A/R and A/P invoices, orders, journal entries and items to the Unify Graph, using a secure agent where the Service Layer is not reachable.

Why build SAP Business One on Unify Int

  • One data model

SAP Business One records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize SAP Business One. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map SAP Business One custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every SAP Business One connection, so support can see what happened.

SAP Business One integration questions

Does Unify Int support SAP Business One A/P Invoices and A/R Invoices?
SAP Business One is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading accounts, business partners (vendors), business partners (customers), A/P Invoices, A/R Invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, journal entries and items, with write-back for business partners (vendors), business partners (customers) and A/P Invoices to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their SAP Business One account?
Your customer provides a Service Layer user for the company database in Unify Connect. Where the server is not internet-facing, a secure on-premise agent is installed.
Is there a SAP Business One sandbox for testing?
SAP does not offer a hosted Business One sandbox. Testing uses the customer's or partner's test company database.
How often does SAP Business One data sync?
SAP Business One does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access SAP Business One custom fields?
Yes. SAP Business One user-defined fields (U_ fields) and user-defined tables can be mapped per connection or reached through passthrough.
