About the Squarespace integration

Squarespace is a website builder with built-in commerce, used by creators, small brands and service businesses. The Unify Orders API covers its orders, products, inventory, transactions and customer profiles.

Squarespace's Commerce APIs (Orders, Products, Inventory, Transactions, Profiles) use OAuth for approved extensions or API keys, with webhook subscriptions for order events. Unify Int maps them to the Unify Graph alongside other storefronts.

Why build Squarespace on Unify Int

  • One data model

Squarespace records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Squarespace. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Squarespace custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Squarespace connection, so support can see what happened.

Squarespace integration questions

Does Unify Int support Squarespace orders and products?
Squarespace is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading orders, products, variants, customers, fulfillments, refunds, inventory levels and payouts, with write-back for products, variants and fulfillments to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Squarespace account?
Your customer approves Unify Int in Unify Connect through Squarespace's OAuth flow, or generates an API key in their site settings.
Is there a Squarespace sandbox for testing?
Squarespace has no separate sandbox. Testing uses a trial or development site.
How often does Squarespace data sync?
Unify Sync combines Squarespace change notifications where the platform emits them with incremental polling elsewhere. You set the frequency per object, from a few minutes for transactional records to daily for reference data.
Can I access Squarespace custom fields?
Squarespace has limited custom fields; form fields on orders and the full record are available in `raw`.
