ACCOUNTING FIRMS
Every client ledger, one consistent view.
Read every client's ledger in one schema, whatever system they use. Build close, review and advisory tools once for QuickBooks, Xero and more.
THE PROBLEM
What makes Accounting Firms integrations hard.
Firms serve clients on many ledgers, and every tool they build or buy has to work across all of them. Per-ledger integrations multiply the work for every new service line.
USE CASES

AP AUTOMATION
AP & Bill Pay Automation
Run bill processing for clients on different ledgers from one tool.
WHAT IT TAKES
Data, platforms and controls.
- Data you need
- Charts of accounts, trial balances, journal entries, invoices, bills, bank transactions and attachments for each client, by period.
- Platforms that matter
- QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, Sage Accounting, FreshBooks, Zoho Books and MYOB for most clients, with NetSuite and Sage Intacct for larger ones.
- Controls required
- Client-level permissions so staff see only their clients, read-only by default, and an audit trail that shows any change made to a client's books by your tools.

Frequently asked questions
Is Unify Int an accounting practice management tool?
No. Unify Int is the data layer. Firms and the software companies that serve them use it to build close, review and advisory tools that work across every client's ledger.
Can we use it for clients on QuickBooks Desktop?
QuickBooks Desktop needs a small connector the client installs once. The QuickBooks Desktop integration page shows its current status.
Will our tools change clients' books?
Only if you choose to write. Connections can be read-only, and every write is validated against open periods and recorded in the audit trail.
Can staff access be limited by client?
Yes. Permissions can be scoped per connection, so staff only reach the clients they work on.
