About the Amazon Ads integration

Amazon Ads runs Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP campaigns for sellers and vendors. The Unify Ads API reads its profiles, campaigns, ad groups, ads and daily metrics.

The Amazon Ads API uses Login with Amazon OAuth, with profiles per marketplace and asynchronous reports for metrics. The Unify Ads API maps profiles, campaigns, ad groups, product ads, keywords and daily metrics to the Unify Graph, joined to Amazon orders and ASINs.

Why build Amazon Ads on Unify Int

  • One data model

Amazon Ads records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Amazon Ads. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Amazon Ads custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Amazon Ads connection, so support can see what happened.

Amazon Ads integration questions

Does Unify Int support Amazon Ads campaigns and ads?
Amazon Ads is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, insights and conversions, with write-back for campaigns to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Amazon Ads account?
Your customer signs in with Amazon in Unify Connect and grants access to their advertising profiles.
Is there a Amazon Ads sandbox for testing?
Yes. The Amazon Ads API provides a sandbox environment for testing.
How often does Amazon Ads data sync?
Amazon Ads does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access Amazon Ads custom fields?
ASINs and SKUs on product ads are kept as fields for catalog joins; other report columns are available through passthrough.
