PRIVATE EQUITY
Standardize data across every portfolio company.
Connect each acquired company's ledger and ERP to one model for reporting, value creation and integration planning, from day one of ownership.
THE PROBLEM
What makes Private Equity integrations hard.
Every acquisition adds another ledger, another chart of accounts and another monthly spreadsheet. Sponsors need comparable numbers across the portfolio long before systems can be unified.
USE CASES
What teams in Private Equity build.
ERP CONSOLIDATION
ERP Consolidation
Consolidate trial balances across portfolio companies on different ERPs.
AP AUTOMATION
AP & Bill Pay Automation
Standardize payables controls after an acquisition without a system change.
MULTICHANNEL COMMERCE
Multichannel Commerce
See margin by SKU and channel across consumer portfolio brands.
WHAT IT TAKES
Data, platforms and controls.
- Data you need
- Entities, charts of accounts, trial balances by period, AR and AP aging and, for commerce companies, orders, stock and settlements, all mapped to one portfolio reporting structure.
- Platforms that matter
- Whatever each company already runs: QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero in smaller add-ons; NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365 and Acumatica in platform companies; Shopify and Amazon in consumer brands.
- Controls required
- Read-only access by default, scoped permissions per company, an audit trail for every connection and change, and a named team accountable for keeping each feed current.

Frequently asked questions
Do portfolio companies need to change systems?
No. Each company keeps its ledger or ERP. Unify Int reads from each one into one model, so standard reporting can start before any ERP migration.
Who sets up and runs the connections?
The Unify Technology Center can connect each company, own the chart-of-accounts mappings and run monthly refreshes under Managed Integrations, with your finance team in the loop.
How fast can a new acquisition be added?
Once the company's finance lead authorizes the connection, data can be read straight away. Mapping its chart of accounts to the portfolio structure is the main piece of work, and the Technology Center can scope it before close.
Can access be limited to reporting only?
Yes. Connections can be read-only, and permissions are scoped per company and per user.
