About the Etsy integration

Etsy is the marketplace for handmade, vintage and creative goods, used by millions of independent sellers. The Unify Orders API covers sellers' receipts (orders), transactions, listings, payments and shipments.

Etsy's Open API v3 uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and rate limits per app. The Unify Orders API maps shop receipts, transactions, listings, payments and ledger entries, and shipments to the Unify Graph, so Etsy sales reconcile like any other channel.

Why build Etsy on Unify Int

  • One data model

Etsy records arrive in the same Unify Graph shape as every other platform in the category, with the original record kept in raw.

  • Unify Connect

A white-label flow for your customers to authorize Etsy. Tokens are stored and refreshed for you.

  • Custom fields and passthrough

Map Etsy custom fields per connection, and call any endpoint the model does not cover through passthrough requests.

  • Unify Monitor

Request logs, sync health and alerts for every Etsy connection, so support can see what happened.

Etsy integration questions

Does Unify Int support Etsy orders and products?
Etsy is on the Unify Int roadmap. The planned scope covers reading orders, products, variants, customers, shipments, refunds and payouts, with write-back for products, variants and shipments to follow. Request it to move it up, or ask the Technology Center about a custom build.
How do customers connect their Etsy account?
Your customer signs in to Etsy in Unify Connect and approves the requested scopes with OAuth 2.0.
Is there a Etsy sandbox for testing?
Etsy does not offer a sandbox; testing uses a real shop with draft or private listings.
How often does Etsy data sync?
Etsy does not emit webhooks for most objects, so Unify Sync polls incrementally on the schedule you set per object, typically every 15 minutes to daily, and sends you signed webhooks when records change.
Can I access Etsy custom fields?
Etsy has no custom fields; listing properties and variations are kept on each product, with the full record in `raw`.
